New Members:
If you are interested in becoming a new member of the Lakeville Conservation Club, you are welcome at any of our monthly meetings. The annual cost for a new member including the initiation fee is $40 for adults and $30 for seniors.
Existing Members:
Per club bylaws, all dues are to be paid by January 1, 2024. Beginning March 1st, 2024, dues will be considered past due. If you need to renew your membership, please pay the following amount.
Prior to March 1st, 2024:
Annual Member Renewal - $30
Annual Member Renewal Senior - $20
After March 1st, 2024:
Annual Member Renewal - $40
Annual Member Renewal Senior - $30
Club Bylaws Section 5. Payment of Dues
Yearly dues are due January 1st each year and to be paid in full by March 1st. Any member who has not paid the yearly dues by March 1st shall be assessed a $10.00 penalty. Members who have not paid dues by May 1st will be dropped from the membership roll. To rejoin, they must reapply for membership; pay the initiation fee of $10.00 plus the full year’s dues.

Club Rules and Regulations:
1. It shall be a member’s responsibility to attend Club meetings, participate in club activities, and volunteer time and/or services to the care and maintenance of this Club and its properties.
2. The use of alcohol beverages or illegal drugs or being under the influence of such mind altering substance while at the club premises shall be grounds for disciplinary action to and including expulsion from the club.
3. All new and renewing members shall sign a Release from Liability form provided by the `club. Not signing the Release of Liability form is grounds for refusal of membership. Each member will receive a copy of the by-laws.
4. Members shall assume all responsibilities and liabilities for any guest that they bring to the club facilities. Members shall be present with their Guests at all times while the Guests are on Club property. Members are responsible for the safety and the conduct of their guests. Guest may not use the facility unless accompanied by a member.
5. Members shall assist in fund raising events. There may be at least one yearly event where the club holds an annual raffle where sporting equipment and other prizes including cash prizes are given to winners of the raffle. Members receive by mail a quantity of four to six raffle tickets which they may either buy for themselves or sell to other people. This mailing happens in the fall of the year and is accompanied by the president’s annual state of the club letter. Should a members beliefs prevent them from participating in this type of activity, the member should return the tickets to the club promptly and confer with the President as to what other ways or means that they might be able to support the activities of the club. Any member that does not turn in their raffle tickets by the date established , that the following year, they will need to reimburse the club for the price of those tickets plus the yearly dues in order to keep their membership active.
6. Membership applications should include a copy of rules and upon being accepted for membership each member will receive a copy of the Bylaws.
7. Animal Control all dogs and domestic animals brought to the L.C.C. Grounds shall be on a leash and under control of the responsible person at all times. Any and all messes shall be cleaned up immediately. Except for handicap assistant dogs, all animals are prohibited in the club house.
8. Present membership dues are Thirty (30) dollars for a membership if the member is under the age of 65. If the member is over the age of 65, the membership fee is Twenty (20) dollars for the individual. Note that this fee schedule is subject to change per the Board of Directors review.
9. No “Open Carry” of firearms on the premises. There will be no hunting, shooting of firearms or explosives (fireworks) on the club grounds.
10. All Club members and guests must obey all Federal and State laws in the addition to the club rules as set forth by the Board of Directors.
11. Club members who observe criminal activity on the club grounds are REQUIRED to report the incident to law enforcement agency and to a club officer. Club members may be requested to submit a written account of the incident. Failure to comply with these requirements may subject the non-reporting member to disciplinary action.
12. The speed limit on Club Property and on Riddles Lake is ten (10) miles per hour. All members and quests must comply.
13. Membership “hang tags” shall be displayed in the windshield of any vehicle parked at the lake and camping area. Any vehicle not displaying a Club hang tag may be towed at the owner’s expense.
14. No watercraft, vehicle, or equipment may be left on the premises overnight unless the owner is on sight and in complete control of the equipment.(Campers may leave watercraft or vehicles on site if they are camping however they must be present at all times except when on the lake fishing).
15. Camping rules and restrictions. The use of camping area, the pavilion and the building shall be scheduled with an officer. There is a ten (10) dollar fee for using the electricity while camping. No bonfires at any time. Campfires to be attended at all times. Campfires to be extinguished upon leaving.
16. Take out all trash. Try to leave the premises “cleaner and more orderly” than you found it. Anyone caught putting any trash in the Porta Pottys will be fined and may go before the board for disciplinary action to and including expulsion from the club.
17. The Club is not liable in case of accidents.
18. Swimming is prohibited near club premises due to non-availability of proper beach facilities and Life Guards.
